She will share October 29 as the last day with Mr. Colacion and Ms. Cobian due to their retirements. 1. Our school schedule is on erhs.la: PSAT/SAT is a special bell schedule. Classes will spend the morning in Advisory/HR. See attached. Coffee with the Principal Webinar is 10/14/21, 6pm-7pm. Details below. Midterm grades are due from teachers on Friday, 10/15. Ten and 20-week grades will be mailed to your student’s address in our system. Grades and assignments are also posted in Schoology. Tuesday, October 19, is a PD Day with 1:38p dismissal. e. Rain and Lunch-It is a 70% prediction for rain tomorrow. Please bring an umbrella or poncho. We will do our best to provide outside, covered eating areas. Eating indoors is not yet approved. 2. Masks-Thank you for continuing to wear your masks OUTSIDE (unless eating or drinking) and INSIDE. It is our collective responsibility to remind ALL Eagles, including substitute teachers, maintenance workers, and visitors. 3. Maintaining Privacy- Medical information such as vaccination status and COVID19 test results are private. Together let’s remind students to maintain a respectful environment. It is your decision to share your personal information with peers. We have had reports of students feeling singled out about vaccinations, quarantine, and/or isolation. Together we are stronger when we follow safety guidelines and honor personal boundaries. Please report any instances of bullying to our Dean Mr. Moran or School Climate Advocate Ms. Marsy. 4. COVID19 testing- We will have testing in the South Gym on Monday 10/11 and Tuesday 10/12 Grades 7 thru 10 - in Design class, Grades 11 & 12 - Ind & Societies / Social Studies. Students, please have your ID cards or student ID #s ready. 5. Vaccination Mandate Updates: Franklin High School has a walk-up clinic tomorrow (Friday) from 11:00am-1:00pm, at the Ave 54 entrance by the cafeteria. No appointment necessary! The whole family that is eligible, not just the student, for a vaccination! Per LAUSD, "After October 31, 2021, your child will not be permitted to participate in in-person extracurricular activities without proof of vaccination if they qualify to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Extracurricular activity is a program that takes place outside of the instructional day that is supervised or financed by the District where students represent the school/District."
