If you are a prospective parent or student interested in finding out more about our Gifted, Highly Gifted, High Ability Magnet Program you are encouraged to attend one of the four Open House events. We strongly encourage you to register so we can communicate logistics (parking, event changes) prior to your scheduled visit. Click here to register. We offer these events only during the "Open Enrollment" Magnet Application Period. It is advised that you attend an event before you submit an application. For those individuals unable to attend the scheduled events please understand that requests cannot be honored for private tours or additional dates or times. The Open House event begins with a short PowerPoint Presentation by Magnet Coordinator Joseph Cohen followed by a question and answer period. Our campus is currently closed to in person tours, if you are attending a morning session you will go on a live zoom virtual tour of the campus if you are attending a night session please check out our virtual school tour by clicking here to see what it looks like inside classrooms and around the campus. Magnet applications can be submitted any time between October 1st and November 12th: in other words, there is no advantage to applying earlier in the Open Enrollment window. However, applications submitted during the Open Enrollment period (Oct 1 to Nov 12) will have priority over Late Applications (available in February 2020).
