If you are a prospective parent or student interested in finding out more about our Gifted, Highly Gifted, High Ability Magnet Program you are encouraged to attend one of the four Open House events. We strongly encourage you to register so we can communicate logistics (parking, event changes) prior to your scheduled visit. Click here to register. We offer these events only during the "Open Enrollment" Magnet Application Period. It is advised that you attend an event before you submit an application. For those individuals unable to attend the scheduled events please understand that requests cannot be honored for private tours or additional dates or times. The Open House event begins with a short PowerPoint Presentation by Magnet Coordinator Joseph Cohen followed by a tour and then a short session on the application process with an open forum at the end. Magnet applications can be submitted any time between October 5th and November 17th: in other words, there is no advantage to applying earlier in the Open Enrollment window. However, applications submitted during the Open Enrollment period (Oct 5 to Nov 17) will have priority over Late Applications (available in February 2023).
