In closing, here are the monthly appreciations for June: https://nationaldaycalendar.com/june-monthly-observations/ and daily celebrations: https://www.calendarr.com/united-states/calendar-june-2021/ For Pride month, June is the time to uplift and affirm our Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, Trans/Nonbinary/Gender Diverse, and Queer+ (LGBTQ+) communities. LAUSD is a long-standing advocate affirming learning and working environments for LGBTQ+ students, staff and families.  Learn about the landmark cases of LGBT activism and resistance to police harassment occurred at Gene Compton's Cafeteria in San Francisco (1966), Black Cat Tavern in Silverlake (1967) and the Stonewall Inn in New York (1969). Here is a resource from LAUSD: https://achieve.lausd.net/cms/lib/CA01000043/Centricity/Domain/156/Be-True-Be-You-LGBTQ-Booklet-DIGITAL.pdf

From me to you, “Be true and be you. Love is love.” Kindness matters now and always.

Stay safe and strong, Eagles!
