Message 2 of 2 Campus Life Updates

Hello, Eagles, Happy Monday Evening! Today’s self-care tip reminds you to celebrate the wins today. Our faculty shared at least three celebrations and started our day with tons of joy. As you end the evening, share some of your day’s celebrations with a family member.
1.ROCK Madness: Our inaugural event was a hit!!
a.    Congratulations to Team NBG - Isaac P., Gabriel S., Luis R. from the class of 2021, our ROCK Madness Rocket League Champions! Thank you to the leadership of AP Ms. Cisneros, Senior Charles R., commentators Fritz and Ken, Artist Jessica L, competitors and 150 Twitch streamers!
b.    Our two talent video submissions came from seniors only. Woo woo to a senior sweep of Rock Madness! Congrats to David N. and John C. for their video submissions honoring the class of 2021!  Please enjoy their videos posted on our erhs.la website.  Can’t wait for next year’s competition!
2.    Standardized CAASPP Testing Update: We are canceling/postponing testing this week, as we receive official LAUSD updates regarding standardized testing for all grades. Our understanding is that 11th grade is pending. We will notify our stakeholders ASAP about the status of all tests. Renaissance, ELPAC, and AP exams will still continue.
3.    10th grade Personal Projects: All homeroom classes meet on Wednesday, April 14 during HR H. All 10th graders will be in HR H with their Mentor Teachers; over 230 projects were submitted on time! Congratulations Class of 2023!
