Department Chair/Teacher

Individuals & Societies

"Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right."

Henry Ford

Educational Philosophy:

I am a big proponent of project-based, student-centered teaching. Students learn what they do.

What I value most about ERHS:

The students.

About Me:

I began my teaching career with LAUSD after graduating from California State University, Los Angeles. Throughout my 21 years of teaching, I have taught regular, magnet, and honors classes at all grade levels. This school year, I will be teaching Medieval World History (7th), US History (11th), and the following Honors classes: Modern World History (10th), US History (11th), Economics (12th), and Government (12th). It is an honor to teach your children.

As the Department Chair of the Individuals and Societies Department, I look forward to a great year.
