Language Acquisition,

Educational Philosophy:

A very respected educator once told me, "The best teacher in the world cannot force a student to learn." That has stuck with me throughout my career. As a teacher I am there to guide, encourage, and try to motivate a student in his or her learning. But ultimately, the student is responsible for his or her own success.

What I value most about ERHS:

Eagle Rock High School is such a unique campus. The student body is one of the most diverse in L.A. Unified and almost everyone seems to get along extremely well. In general, students here are hard working, considerate, and respectful. In addition, I really appreciate the colleagues I work with and the camaraderie we share.
