Ms. Torrez has been teaching at Eagle Rock High School since 2004. She received her B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Spanish Literature from the University of California Los Angeles. She earned her teaching credential from California State University of Northridge with a Bilingual Cross-cultural, Language and Academic Development certification,(BCLAD/CLAD), this is an authorization to provide specialized instruction to individuals for whom English is a second language. Specifically, it authorizes instruction for 1) English Language Development certification (ELD) in preschool, K-12.

She teaches Language A 7th grade IB MYP, and Language B ELD 1A/B, 2 A/B 3A/B and 4A/B.
