What are the ways that teenagers perceive themselves, and how can I portray this in a documentary?

My personal project is a video I made in which I interviewed 4 high school students on their identity and who they think they are. I also did a survey and learned more about people’s personal identities, finding that usually the way teens view themselves is affected by standards put up by people who influence them.
