How can I create an exciting chidlren’s book that’ll teach the readers a valuable lesson?

For my project I wrote and illustrated a children’s book about a boy going through the stages of grief. I made it to educate people of all ages to understand what it’s like to lose someone. I want people to know they’re not alone and also how to help other people.
