Greetings Eagle Rock families! This is principal Steinorth with your school update for the week of November 14th. Parents, we need your help! It’s time to complete the School Experience Survey again. The Survey is an important way for us to better understand the wants and needs of our community so that we may best allocate school resources. Every student, parent, and school staff member are asked to complete the survey. As of today, only 8% of parents have participated. To take the survey, please go to our school website and look for the link for the School Experience Survey. All survey results are strictly confidential. On Thursday, November 17th we attempted to distribute one Rapid Antigen Test to every student and staff member. Students and staff are asked to use the test on November 26th or 27th to ensure they are COVID free before returning to school on November 28th. Anyone testing Positive should remain home and upload their test result to the LAUSD Daily Pass platform and await further guidance. In athletics, our Winter season athletic teams have now begun their preseason participating in competitions against non-Northern League opponents. Our 8th ranked football team plays Garfield High School tonight at 7:30 p.m. after their thrilling upset over number one seed San Pedro last Thursday. Please join me and special guest, School Board Member Jackie Goldberg, at my next Coffee With The Principal which will be held on Thursday, December 1st at 9:00 a.m. in the school Library.
