Greetings Eagle Rock families! This is Principal Steinorth with a weekly update from the Rock. Next week, many of our students will be completing make-up sections of the California Science Test (CAST) so please remind your student to bring their school provided Chromebooks to class with them daily. Congratulations to our Baseball team for reaching the semi-finals of the Division 2 CIF-City Section playoffs with two epic victories this week. Coach De Leon and the boys will play next week on Monday, May 23rd at 3:00 p.m. at Wilson HS. Congratulations also to Senior Keely Miyamoto who took first place in the 3200 meter during CIF City Section Track Finals last evening with a time 11:25.14! Go Eagles! Yearbooks are on sale now at the student store. We have less than 40 copies left so get yours soon! The cost is $99 payable by cash or check. COVID testing will take place at the school next week on Monday and Tuesday, May 23rd and 24th through Math classes. The Eagle Rock Band and Choral Music programs will be holding their Spring concerts on Tuesday, May 24th and Thursday, May 26th in school auditorium. Check the school website for showtimes and ticket information. Finally, come out and see our Spring Theater Production of Spamalot tonight at 7:00 p.m. or tomorrow Saturday, 21st with shows at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. All shows will take place in the school auditorium.
