Hello, Eagles. Happy Saturday! This is a summary message of the 2020-21 school year! Time flies! This message has five parts: self-care, celebrations, special events, school-wide end-of-year Webinar, and appreciation. We shared this quote from Parker Palmer, “Self-care is never a selfish act—it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer to others.” During this school year, we’ve made it a habit to remind you to take care of yourself, each other, and this place. In what ways are you doing good for you? Maybe grab a sip or two of water, stretch, take a couple of deep breaths, or walk around for the next three minutes of this call? Celebrations: Congratulations to our retirees: Mr. Howard Bodner, Ms. Anna Levitsky, and Mr. Paul Pontrelli! We are thankful for your love and service! Our graduating Class of 2021 had a 94% graduation rate! Over 90% will be attending a 2 or 4 year college! Diploma pick-ups were held today from 10am-12pm. They will be also be available Monday and Tuesday, 10am-12pm, at the La Roda Gate. Make sure you have cleared everything (textbooks, technology, senior exit survey, etc) and bring photo ID! Special Events: VACCINATIONS: For students and families who received your 1st shot on May 24th in the South Gym, you were automatically registered for your 2nd shot on Monday, June 14. Please bring your vaccination card and come to the South Gym at or around your appointment time. THANK YOU for doing your part to make each of us safer against COVID19. TOURS: On-campus, 30-minute live tours for small groups for incoming 7th, 8th, & 9th graders OR NEW students on June 16 & 17. The tours start at 8AM-8:30AM until 11AM-11:30AM.
