Hello, Eagles, Attached is a letter in English and Spanish regarding standardized testing that was mailed to each student's address on file. As the parent or guardian, you have the option of excusing your child from any part of the CAASPP program. If you would like to excuse your child from the test, you must submit your request in writing to the school to the attention of the testing coordinator Joseph Cohen (joseph.cohen@lausd.net) specifying which of the tests (CAASPP English–language arts/literacy, CAASPP mathematics, California Science Test) you would like to opt out of.
