Hello, Eagles! This is Mrs.Keipp with the first of three announcements. The first is about School Updates. The second is about the Bell Schedule/Structure of the School Day Conversations. The third is about Athletics.

Message 1

  1. Please complete the School Experience Survey as a student, parent, or faculty member by: https://achieve.lausd.net/Page/8397. We recently received parent PIN numbers by period 1 teachers; the rosters will be distributed next week. Students without period 1, please see your homeroom teacher.
  2. Our Arabic Honors Society started a project called Backpacks for Refugees. They collect backpacks for refugees and donate them. It’s a wonderful cause!    Bring backpacks to Ustata Ms. Daher-Romans in Rm 314 by November 22!
  3. Attached are two forums to share your perspectives:  Open House with Board Member Goldberg on November 13 at Burbank MS and Local District Central Conversations on November 14 at Franklin HS.
  4. Restroom updates- Several restrooms have been closed due to plumbing repairs, student vandalism, and or lack of staffing. During lunch, the restrooms in the cafeteria, north gym, and J1 bldg by the tennis courts should be open. If you see something, please say something.
  5. Afterschool safety- We are continuing to have unsupervised, especially middle school students loitering on campus after 3:30pm. Submit your FREE application (https://erhs.la/information/a_world_fit_for_kids) ASAP if you want to have your student at school until 6pm.

In closing, Veteran’s Day is Monday, November 11. School will be closed in observance and gratitude for our Veterans, like my father. See you Tuesday for a regular schedule Green Day!
