Programs for continuing students

Counselors will be available from 9am-12pm on Wednesday, August 9 to distribute programs. Siblings can pick up programs at any time from 9am-12pm. The schedule is in the corresponding e-mail.

Lockers:

There has been a slight change in locker information, due to District accountabilities. If you pick up your program on August 9, you can also receive a locker and combination with proof of PASSport registration and school lunch application-one each per family. For families to register for PASSport, you need an e-mail address and have your student’s District ID# (which is on any LAUSD-issued report card).

For PASSport, go to https://achieve.lausd.net/Page/10470; the meal application is available on the PASSport portal orhttps://www.myschoolapps.com/Application. Students who cannot attend the early locker distribution on August 9, can submit documentation during Advisory or to Room 210 during lunch until September 1.

First Day of School

Advisory lists will be posted throughout the school on August 15. All students report to Advosry, except 7th graders. All 7th graders report to the Auditorium. The first 3 days of school will start & end with Advisory. During the first week of school, dismissal is at 2:46pm. Teachers’ Office Hours will start on August 21.

Orientation for new students

On August 8, from 5-8pm, we will be hosting an orientation for all students grade 7-12. The purpose is to support new students and families with their transition to ERHS. Programs will be available for pick up starting at 5pm. Some tips for a smooth experience:

  1. TDAP is required for school attendance. If you haven’t provided verification, please do so.
  2. An overview of the school and evening activities will take place from 5:15p-5:45pm in the Auditorium. A parent meeting for students in the magnet program will be held from 6:15p-6:45pm in the library.
  3. Students can receive a locker and combination with proof of PASSport registration and submitted school lunch application.
  4. A package of Physical Education uniforms and surprise gift will be available for sale in the student store for $30. Cash or check only. Additional items may be viewed on our school website (https://webstores.activenetwork.com/school-software/eagle_rock_high_scho/)  On-line purchases can be made by credit card and picked up at the Student Store.
