About Me:

I graduated from Whittier College with a B.A. in History and Liberal Arts degree. I began teaching in 1998 on my third son's one year birthday. Then in 2000 my department chair entered me into the California Council for the Social Studies Student teacher of the year and to my surprise I Won! I was really humbled with this award. In 2008 I earned an M.A. in Education Administration from CSUN. I been teaching history in middle school, high school and coaching wrestling at at four different schools. I am very passionate about being a teacher. My goal has always been to help students become leaders in and out of the classroom and on the mat.
