About Me:

I graduated from Whittier College with a B.A. in History and Liberal Arts education and began teaching in 1998 on my son's (3rd son) one year old birthday. In 2000 my department chair person entered me into the California Council for the Social Studies Student teacher of the year and to my surprise I Won! I was really humbled with this award. I then earned an M.A. in Education Administration from CSUN in 2008. I been teaching history in middle school and in high school at four different school as well as being Dean, EL coordinator and Title I and coaching wrestling ever since. I am very passionate about my education career and this all happened because one day my counselor at Valley College advised me to do it!
