Hello, Eagles, This is Mrs. Keipp with four updates in construction, time change, grades, and other news: Construction updates: Work is on schedule to be completed by July 2020. Remember to practice safe travel behaviors as a driver, pedestrian, cyclist, etc. (Please see the e-mail for a sampling of photographs from the construction zones): Auditorium: Grouting work in the auditorium is done, which is why La Roda has had fewer pick-up trucks and machines. We learned this week that there will be a new floor installed. South Gym: Grouting is 90% completed and has been halted due to the discovery of asbestos in a now quarantined boiler room area. We learned this week that in addition to a new floor and bleachers, new lockers and ceiling will be installed. Time Change: On Sunday, March 10, at 2 am, daylight saving time begins. Remember to set your clocks forward one hour. Grades: Ten-week/midterm grades are due next Friday, March 15! The eligibility date for athletics will be March 20th.
