To what degree do silent films hold relevance in today's society?

My product depicts both the history and relevance of the silent film in today's society, as well as the current film industry in general. I displayed a brief description of my interest in silent films, as well as a synapsis, followed by a few techniques that were frequently referenced in my research. Overall my product was intended to be short, stylized, and documentary based - hopefully able to give my viewers a little bit more insight into the realm of silent film.
