Chorale / Jr Choir:

Chorale and Jr. Choir are groups intended for anyone who desires to learn to sing even if they haven't had previous experience. Here you will learn proper singing technique as well as perform a variety of styles. The group also welcomes ESL learning students, as singing provides an exciting way for limited English-proficient students to learn the language.

Concert Choir:

This group is composed of the most dedicated and musically talented students from the ERHS Choirs. It also The gather every morning at 7 a.m and practice a music repertoire that includes many things from classical to contemporary works. Annual events include winter and spring concerts at the school and throughout the community and they continue to make the school proud of its vocalists. Attendance is very important.

Orchestra is the largest instrumental group. It prepares students for public functions and live performances at ERHS. They also perform at various school events and activities, such as spor for non-musicians to grow. The Junior Jazz Band is a fun and exciting class that performs music for entertainment. It gives students the opportunity to learn the basics and learn to perform as a group. They perform for community, state, and nationwide functions. The members practice arduously in the hopes of becoming a part of the Senior Jazz Band in their high school years.

Senior Jazz:

The Eagle Rock Senior Jazz Band has distinguished itself to be one of the finest high school bands in Los Angeles. Under of Music Director Greg Samuel, the band has qualified to participate in many festivals and performed around the country, including the Inaugural Ball for President Clinton in 1992. Their regular activities include playing at school events such as football games and pep rallies in the quad.
